Drug group member falls in drug sting, P340-K ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – An alleged member of a drug group was arrested after police seized from his possession 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 in a buy-bust operation at San Juan Tunga, Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental yesterday.

Police identified the suspect as Joseph Pasigay, 45, of the said village.

Police Lieutenant Ruby Aurita, public information officer of San Carlos City Police Station, said that Pasigay is a high value individual.

Aurita said Pasigay was previously arrested for a drug offense, and they are now checking the status of his case.

Aurita said that Pasigay has been monitored for several months before he was busted.

“Dugay na siya na monitor pero indi makuha dayon kay tama gid ka danlog kag ka maro,” she added.

Pasigay would usually transfer from one place to another.

“On and off man siya especially kung ma hit niya na target niya ma lie-low man siya anay,” Aurita added.

Aurita said they received information that Pasigay allegdly gets his drug supply outside the province, but such is still subject for validation.
