The Choco Mucho Flying Titans are also making a huge off-season acquisition and added former La Salle volleyball star Des Cheng to its 2022 roster ahead of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.

Cheng will be joining an Ateneo-filled Flying Titans team and will have the chance to play with Bea De Leon, Kat Tolentino, Deanna Wong, Pauline Gaston, and Denden Lazaro-Revilla.

The Choco Mucho team will seek to bounce back from a fourth-place finish during the last PVL conference and were so close in upsetting the Cherry Tiggo team led by the Santiago sisters who eventually won the championship after taking down Alyssa Valdez and the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Cheng, the former UAAP Season 79 Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) and UAAP Season 80’s Best Server will provide more depth in the current Flying Titans roster, adding firepower in the opposite hitter position.

The Former member of the F2 Logistics will also provide veteran leadership after clinching two titles in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) from 2017-2018.

Cheng was also a member of the championship roster of F2 during the most recent volleyball tournament, the Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Champions League.

Aside from Cheng, Choco Mucho also signed Jem Ferrer, Cherry Nunag, Isa Molde, and Thang Ponce as its newest members.

“Welcome home, Des! Adding Des to the roster will give the team so much more depth making the Flying Titans unstoppable. Team Titans, let’s all welcome the newest addition to our family, Choco Mucho Flying Titans Open Hitter, Des Cheng!” posted the volleyball team in their social media accounts.
