Ninety-five employees of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6 were recognized and awarded for their years of public service and for their vital contribution in attaining the department’s goals and accomplishments throughout the years during the conduct Pasidungog Second Semester 2022 in December 19, 2022.
The Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) of the Department gave “Service Awards” for 62 employees who rendered 15-45 years of service.
Another award is the “Achievement Awards” with a total of 10 awardees who retired from the service in the Department.
Meanwhile, the “Career and Development Awards” with three awardees are given to those who had pursued their personal growth and for completing their graduate and post-graduate degrees at their own personal expense, thereby enhancing their knowledge and skills in their respective offices for the benefit of the Department.
A specia Posthumous Award was also given to the late Robert C. Biba, Admistrative Aide III from the Province of Capiz.
Biba was recognized for his contribution to the department in his 33 years of service. The award was received by his family member.
Performance Award was also given to the Alternative Dispute Resolutions Officers (ADROs), after the DENR 6 was recognized as the Top Performing Pool of ADROs for CY 2022 and garnering the first 2 top spots for the Best ADRO nationwide. The DENR 6 Legal Division also received a Certificate of Recognition in regards to the completion of ADRO.
Regional Executive Director (RED) Livino B. Duran gave his appreciation to the awardees during his speech in the second quarter Pasidungog 2022.
Another highlight of the day is the mass oathtaking of 23 newly promoted and appointed personnel of the Regional Office, PENRO Iloilo and PENRO Guimaras.
“To our promotees and appointees, I would like to ask you one thing: serve this organization with utmost honesty and integrity. We at the Department are looking forward for your success and our success,” Duran said.
The DENR 6’s Pasidungog 2022 and Oathtaking Activity aims to recognize the hard work and service of officials and employees to encourage efficiency and productivity in the public service. (DENR-6)
