CPU paces ILOPRISAA

The table tennis athletes of CPU swept both girls and boys from elementary to tertiary (cpu.edu.ph)

From elementary to tertiary, the CPU Golden Lions garnered medals from various sports and are atop in the overall ranking so far.

This is the first time in CPU’s history where the Golden Lions have ranked first overall from elementary to tertiary level.

The elementary athletes of CPU all achieved the championship in Chess, football, and tennis, while volleyball boys and girls got 1st runner up and the basketball boys ranked 3rd runner up.

For the secondary level, athletics boys, chess boys and girls, Dancesports-Latin American, futsal girls, tennis boys and girls, volleyball boys and girls all got championship titles, while the athletics girls garnered 1st runner-up.

The tertiary level also provided excellent results for CPU, where the chess boys and girls, Dancesports-Latin American, futsal women, and tennis men were first overall, the athletics women and tennis women placed 1st runner-up, and the athletics men and Dancesports-Modern Standard nabbed the 2nd runner-up award.

The ILOPRISAA events will continue until December 4, 2019, with the most awaited event – basketball men tertiary will start on the 27th of November.
