BACOLOD City – Three persons, including a couple were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok Neptune, Barangay Singcang-Airport here, with the seizure of 35 grams of suspected shabu worth P238,000 Thursday night.

Police Major Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, identified the subject as Rodhah Mae Guevara, 38. Also arrested were her live-in partner Eduardo Villanueva Jr., 43, and an alleged drug runner Tryshia Ruiz, 22, all residents of the said village.

Puerto said that Guevara is considered a high value individual, as she was previously arrested for a drug offense and was released after serving her sentence.

The two other suspects were “newly-identified peddlers.”

“Dugay na sila ga engage (sa drugs), galing si Villanueva kag Ruiz lang ga tubang sa clients,” the station commander added.

Puerto said that Guevara allegedly sourced illegal drugs from Barangay Banago here, but police continue to validate the information.

Also recovered from them were the P1,000 marked money.

Puerto said that Guevara will be charged for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs, while the two others will be facing charges for illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
