BACOLOD City – A couple and four others were arrested by police for alleged sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs in four separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from October 6 to 7.
In Silay City, target-listed drug personality Cristian Pegaris, and Emmanuel Junsay were arrested at Barangay Mambulac yesterday after police seized from them five sachets of suspected shabu weighing eight grams worth P120,000, the P5,000 marked money, drug paraphernalia, and a homemade shotgun with two live ammunition.
Also arrested yesterday at Barangay 20, Victorias City was Diolito Solinap, 30, of Barangay Alacaygan, E.B. Magalona town, after he allegedly yielded six sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,000, the P400 marked money, and P100 cash.
Over the weekend, Koichi Sasaki, 33, and his wife Maica, 32, both residents of Barangay Lag-asan, Bago City were arrested at Barangay Balingasag last Sunday, after police confiscated from them four sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,000, the P500 marked money, drug paraphernalia, P2,600 cash, and a Toyota Vios.
Personnel of Police Station 10 also conducted a drug bust at Barangay Felisa here that day which resulted in the arrest of Joshua Brava, 20, of Barangay Handumanan here.
Police recovered from him four sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000, and the P200 marked money. He is detained at the said police station.
