ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A 53-year-old construction worker was arrested Wednesday morning alleged possession of an unlicensed gun and drug peddling.

Recovered from Hilario were four sachets of suspected shabu; fake peso bills used as marked money; P500 marked money; a caliber .38 revolver with two live ammunitions and several drug paraphernalia.
Hilario admitted using illegal drugs since 2019 but denied peddling illegal drugs and guns.
His live-in partner Cherry Palmon also denied that the suspect engaged in illegal activities.
According to Tanque Barangay Kapitan Herminia Dillo, the suspect was on their list of suspected drug personalities in the area.
Hilario was taken to Iloilo City by the CIDG Regional Operating Team. Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act of 2013) are being readied against him.
