THE Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ordered the reshuffling of its field personnel four months before the May 2019 polls.

Atty. Dennis Ausan, COMELEC-6 regional director, said that COMELEC officials were transferred outside the “legislative district” of their previous stations.

COMELEC officials that had served their station for more than four years, and those who have relatives running for a government position in their area of coverage will also be transferred.

“Just like sa aton diri sa Visayas, ang director sa Region 8 mabulos sa akon kay tungod ang asawa niya mapadalagan man didto saRegion 8,” he said.

Atty. Jose Nick A. Mendroz of Region VIII will replace Atty. Ausan who will move to Region VII.

Atty. Elizabeth Doronila of COMELEC-Iloilo will replace Atty. Ian Lee Analoria of Aklan.

Atty. Analoria will be sent to Guimaras.

Other new assignments are election supervisor Atty. Salud Milagros Villanueva (from Guimaras to Negros Occidental); Atty. Roberto Salazar (from Antique to Iloilo); Atty. Will Arsenio (from Capiz to Antique); and Atty. Jesse Suarez (from Negros Occidental to Capiz).
