BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Legal Office Enforcement Team started clearing major streets here of obstructions Monday.

CLO Enforcement Team head Rey Demisana said in a radio interview that major streets will no longer be allowed to be used as parking spots.

The obstructions were mostly motorcycles which occupied at least three lines and “narrowed” the street in the area.

He explained that parking in front of the business establishment is allowed but for one line only.

He added that what they will consider obstructions are motorcycles, buyers parked anywhere, and market vendors who display their wares on the streets.

Demisana also said that the CLO is just waiting for the completion of the second floor of the renovated Libertad Public market for the awardees who sell temporarily in the streets to occupy their respective spaces.

He said this would decongest the area of obstruction.
