This is one of those matches wherein your character will truly be tested.

For the young Choco Mucho team, they again did not fail to deliver and prevailed over the veteran Pacifictown Army team in five grueling sets, 25-20, 17-25, 21-25, 25-11, 15-8.

For the third straight game, Choco Mucho’s Kat Tolentino came in hot and was unstoppable, unloading 24 points and two rejections.

Facing a team like Pacifictown gave the Flying Titans a needed boost in their remaining games as the playoffs are getting nearer.

A back and forth affair throughout the match was evident and kept the fans in San Juan arena up on their feet every time Tolentino and Jovelyn “The Bionic Ilongga” Gonzaga traded spikes and staredowns.

Neither team seemed to gain consistent momentum as both answered each other’s offensive sets and were even at par in their net defenses, but it’s the relentless attacks of Tolentino and the beautiful orchestration of setter Acy Masangkay that gave them the edge.

Masangkay tallied 22 excellent sets on top of 13 digs while Bang Pineda anchored the tough floor defense for the Flying Titans with 22 digs and 14 excellent receptions.

Royse Tubino top-scored for the Army with 16 points, while Gonzaga contributed 15 points and 17 digs.
