Did Chery Tiggo already find the answer to their losing slump?

After a disappointing eighth-place finish during the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference, the Chery Tiggo Pro Crossovers are going all out this upcoming PVL Reinforced Conference by bringing in superstar import Jelena Cvijovic from Montenegro.

The six-foot-one outside hitter is no stranger to international volleyball stints and has been a staple import all around the world since 2011.

Cvijovic first made a name for herself in Serbia and played as an import and also received offers from Romania, Greece, and Turkey.

Before taking her talents to the Philippines, the high-flying spiker first suited up for the SCM U Craiova in the Romanian Volleyball League.

Cvijovic also played for the Montenegro national team during the FIVB World Championship-European Qualification stage and the CEV Volleyball European League.

The Crossovers will be needing Cvijovic to deliver on a consistent basis to put up points on board if ever they can’t bring in superstar Jaja Santiago who is still playing in the Japan Volleyball League.

Chery is also yet to disclose when Dindin Santiago-Manabat will play and if she has already been cleared by the team’s doctors after suffering a foot injury last conference.

Veterans that are still with the team are Mylene Paat, Buding Duremdes, EJ Laure, Shaya Adorador, Jasmine Nabor, Alina Bicar, May Luna, and Cza Carandang.

Meanwhile, the new faces that will reinforce the squad this conference are Jaycel Delos Reyes, France Ronquillo and Rachelle Roldan.
