CARD SME Bank grows another branch in Koronadal City        

The ribbon cutting was spearheaded by CARD SME President and CEO Cynthia B. Baldeo,
Koronadal Mayor Hon. Eliordo U. Ogena, and City Councilor Bert Hinay.

CARD SME Bank, a thrift bank under the CARD Mutually Reinforcing Institution (CARD MRI), opens its 38th branch on October 10, 2022 in Koronadal City to further expand the reach of the institution to fulfill its goal of growing the businesses of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) clients.

CARD SME Bank President and CEO Cynthia Baldeo, Vice President for Operations Cherry Boncajes, Koronadal Mayor Hon. Eliordo U. Ogena, City Councilor Bert Hinay, key officers, staff, and clients were present at the opening.

“This expansion is in line with our mission to broaden our service coverage area and provide assistance to a lot of growing businesses across the country. This is our way of contributing to CARD MRI’s mission which is poverty eradication,” Baldeo stated.

CARD SME Bank offers a variety of products and services such as savings, remittances, and various types of loans, including business loans, to assist MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in nurturing their businesses. With the opening of the branch, Koronadal residents will have better access not only to financial services but also to community development programs.

The branch is located at Odi Street Pantua, Barangay Zone III, Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

As of September 2022, CARD SME Bank has more than a million clients served with 5.9 billion of outstanding loans. The institution aims to become the best thrift bank in the country and be able to reach and serve more clients in the future.
