Barangays and schools benefit from PDIC’s equipment donations

Hybrid ceremonial turnover.

The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) donated a total of 103 pieces of office and IT equipment such as used desktop computers, computer tables, filing cabinets, drawers, bookshelves, sofas, and office desks to various barangays and schools.

The PDIC officially turned over the donations to beneficiaries in a hybrid ceremony on 18 May 2022 led by Cyrus T. Galang, Vice President of Administrative Services Group; Renar M. Gonzales, Department Manager of Technical Support Department; and Analinda C. Lao, Department Manager of Procurement and Property Department; internal auditor Mae B. Bucago; and COA Auditor Ariel Austine R. Yanuario, Jr.

The recipients included representatives from Barangays Poblacion 2 and Buñao in Dumaguete City, Barangay Niog III in Bacoor Cavite, Buenavista National High School, CAA Elementary School, Fernando Ma. Guerrero Elementary School, Las Piñas National Senior High School Manuyo Uno Campus, Marinduque National High School, Niog Elementary School, Rivera Village Elementary School, San Antonio High School Parañaque, and Tibag High School in Tarlac City.

The donations can go a long way in helping the students and employees of the recipient units to maximize their learning and provide their constituents with optimally efficient service, respectively.
