Amid the blockbuster off-season acquisitions by some of the top teams joining in the 2022 Premier Volleyball League (PVL), the BaliPure volleyball squad is also collecting their pieces to form a roster that could push them to the playoffs.

Leading the way for BaliPure is star Jhoana Maraguinot who was quickly tapped by the management right after her former team the Perlas Spikers confirmed that they will be taking a leave of absence from the PVL.

BaliPure was one of the teams who failed to clinch a playoff seat while ending their 2021 PVL season with a 3-6 win-loss record.

Reinforcing Maraguinot in BaliPure is a former member of the Choco Mucho Flying Titans, Jamie Lavitoria, who was also a former member of the Ateneo Lady Eagles.

Aside from Maraguinot and Lavitoria, former PLDT members Alyssa Eroa and Janine Marciano also agreed to join the team.

Completing the BaliPure off-season player signings are Julia Ipac, Rafril Aguilar, Marian Buitre, and Patty Orendain.

“It’s a balanced team compared to last year. Last year, our offense revolved around Graze Bombita, Bern Flora, and Gyra Barroga,” said BaliPure team manager Gil Cortez.

Despite the new-look BaliPure team, it will still be head coach John Abella who will call the shots from the sidelines.
