Asialink demolishes OJNA in JB ABL

In one of the most high-octane matchups of the JB Amateur Basketball League, the young hoopers from the Asialink/E&C Trucking outlasted the boys from the OJNA/IYB Mobile Bar Crocodiles, 90-72.

Both youth-oriented teams went out running-and-gunning after the whistle was blown, and it was nothing but fast-paced basketball action.

OJNA went to the line often in the first quarter and sank their shots from the perimeter with a decent percentage, taking the lead in the first 6 minutes of the game.

The crocs went on to push the pace further to find open looks underneath, but the Asialink squad’s adjustment on the defensive end made them inch back with Ralph Bajon slicing through OJNA’s defense at will.

The arrival of Wilmer Dalumpines made things worse for OJNA, as he provided additional firepower and steady rebounding for Asialink.

Torching OJNA with his 8 made threes including 5 straight, Dalumpines shot the lights out and won the player of the game award.

The trio of Giann Nahine, Dalumpines, and Bajon was too much for the OJNA crocodiles, as they attacked the opposing defense relentlessly, adding on to the lead they built in the first quarter.
