Former light-welterweight world champion Amir Khan said that he wants to fight the great Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao before retiring from the world of boxing.

The 33-year-old Khan, also one of the boxers produced by Pacquiao’s legendary coach, Freddie Roach, had been considering retirement and he wants his last fight to be the most memorable one.

Having a mega-fight with the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in the history of boxing would be historical for Khan, saying that ending his career with a fight against the one and only Pacquaio would be nothing but a happy ending.

“The biggest fights motivate me. When you’ve made so much money and won world titles, what’s going to motivate you? A Manny Pacquiao fight is huge,” Khan said.

Considered to be one of the most explosive boxers during his prime, Khan’s career went to a drastic downfall after his devastating loss to Canelo Alvarez.

Also, Khan never wanted the mega-fight he used to push against Floyd “Money” Mayweather and did not recover after his loss to Alvarez.

“I want to fight, we just don’t know how long the coronavirus is going to last,” added Khan.
