Team Alvin’s Fitness Center prevailed over the tough LTC Fruits and Vegetable team, 92-81, to get back into the winning column of the 2022 Iloilo City Basketball Club (ICBC) annual basketball tournament second conference.

After losing at the hands of team Big Roys by Robejes Wonders during their last game, team Alvin’s was quick to adjust but had to endure a nip-and-tuck affair against team LTC.

It was a close game in the first two quarters as both squads answered each other’s offensive runs up until the third quarter.

However, widely-renowned gunner Joshua Mana-ay waxed hot in the most-needed time for team Alvin’s after draining four three-pointers to establish momentum heading into the final quarter.

Lifted by Mana-ay’s explosion, Alvin’s squad never looked back and dominated the rest of the clash until the final seconds.

Aside from Mana-ay’s consistent performance, the veteran sniper had help from Nicolas Ormas who dropped 20 big points.

On the other hand, Rod Tohoy of team LTC still put up an impressive performance despite the loss and will go back to the drawing board for their next game.

During the first scheduled game, team Big Roys notched an automatic win in the tally after opponent Clinica Dental was slapped with a default violation.

Team Big Roys then cruised to an easy 20-0 win against Clinica and is seeking a second-straight win after falling short against team Fueled Wings in their last meeting.
