Despite the two-straight absence of super import Justin Brownlee, the Alab Pilipinas squad managed to blow out the visiting Saigon Heat, 99-79, in the ongoing ASEAN Basketball League.

Amid the Brownlee issue, the Jimmy Alapag headed team still played their brand of offense against Saigon and impressed the hundreds of Pinoys watching live in their home court.

The Alab squad gave a show to their fans as they dazzled them with their fluid ball movement and rim-rocking finishes courtesy of star import Nick King who finished the game with 20 huge points.

Power forward Lawrence Domingo also electrified the Alab squad, pulling down every rebound he can and pushing the ball forward to an open teammate during the breaks to finish with an efficient 18 points, 6 boards, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

The Alab squad is slowly getting their grip this season after a shaky start, losing to bottom teams and giving away large leads.

After the PBA finals, Alab management was quick to contact and convince Brownlee to lend his services to Alab and Brownlee did not disagree but we are yet to see his 2020 debut with the team after missing his second straight game.
