The Air Force Lady Jet Spikers upset the young powerhouse Choco Mucho Flying Titans in an action-packed five-set thriller, 26-24, 14-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-7, in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The comeback win was achieved behind the valiant effort of the players both on the defensive and offensive end.

Abegail Nuval was a revelation in the match, coming off the bench to help bring the momentum to the Air Force’s side, dishing out 9 points including 2 service aces that sealed the win.

Choco Mucho led in the fourth set, but the Jet Spikers capped off a 7-0 run to extend the match into the fifth set.

The young and rookie Choco Mucho team rattled in the last and final set, as they got stomped by the veteran Air Force team, 15-7.

Dell Palomata and Angel Antipuesto caused problems for Choco Mucho’s blockers, as they scored 18 and 16 respectively.

Air Force spoiled Kat Tolentino’s 30-point explosion, dealing the Flying Titans their fifth consecutive loss.
