One of the most-awaited events of the 2019 ILOPRISAA, the tertiary basketball for both men and women, will start today, at 3:00 PM, at the University of San Agustin gym.
Five schools will vie for men’s basketball supremacy while three schools will battle it out in the women’s division for the chance to represent Iloilo City in the next level.
Central Philippine University (CPU), Iloilo Doctor’s College (IDC), John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU), USA, and Western Institute of Technology (WIT) will join in the men’s category while CPU, USA, and WIT in the women’s.
The CPU Golden Lions and the JBLFMU squad will square off in the first game, followed by USA against WIT.
Championship round for the women’s category will start on December 1, while the men’s will start the following day.
