16 fall in P688-K drug haul

BACOLOD City – Police seized an estimated P688,100 worth of suspected shabu from 16 persons in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from Jan 13 to 20, 2022.

Eleven persons were apprehended in the province that resulted in the confiscation of P372,300 worth of the said contraband.

The biggest drug haul was reported in Victorias City last Thursday, with the recovery of P238,000 worth of suspected shabu from a 44-year-old woman in Barangay 13.

Aside from Victorias City, anti-illegal drug operations were also conducted in the cities of Talisay, Bago, Silay, Kabankalan, La Carlota, and Sagay, and the town of Hinigaran.

In Bacolod, five individuals were arrested that resulted in the seizure of P315,800 worth of suspected shabu.

Personnel of Police Stations 4, 5, 6, and 10 conducted the operations in Barangays 3, 19, 40, and Felisa here.
