10 more COVID-19 cases in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Ten more persons were infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here.

Mayor Ronnie Dadivas said that as of Sept 21, 2020, three of the ten positive cases are health workers from Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital (RMPH).

The new cases are as follows:

-a 32-year-old female health worker from RMPH and resident of Arnaldo Boulevard, Brgy. Baybay;

-a 21-year-old female health worker from RMPH and resident of Burgos Ilawod, Brgy. V;

-a 38-year-old male health worker from RMPH and resident of Blk. 2, Jumaguicjic Vill., Brgy. Jumaguicjic;

-a 60-year-old female and resident of Sitio Bangkiling, Brgy. Tiza.

-a 30-year-old female and resident of Sitio Bangkiling, Tiza ;

-a 58-year-old male frontliner of City Government and resident of Sitio Bangkiling, Brgy. Tiza;

-a 38-year-old male frontliner of the City Government and resident of Brgy. Banica (vicinity of CRAAAHS);

-a 36-year-old male and resident of Sto. Nino, New Road Mongpong;

-a 61-year-old male and resident of Daliva Subdivision;

-a 94-year-old male and resident of Hemingway St., Brgy. Tiza;

Three recoveries were also recorded in the city; a 50-year-old male and resident of Brgy. Culasi; a 40-year-old female and resident of Brgy. Baybay; a 51-year-old female and resident of Brgy. Milibili.

At present, the city has 80 active cases, 99 recoveries, 20 deaths with a total 199 confirmed positive cases.

Dadivas urged the public to double their precaution to protect themselves, especially senior citizens and other populations who are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
